Stephen Beamish is a colleague in my office who is taking it to the streets in an effort to help fight diabetes.  A couple years ago, he found out his daughter had type 1 diabetes, which is a condition that although you can live with, is one of those things that tends to take over your life; not a day goes by without it impacting their entire family in some way.
